RedisTS v/s TimescaleDB

After quite some study and proof of concepts, we zeroed on RedisTS for our application. Now the question that is arising is why RedisTS (with persistence enabled) and why not TimescaleDB? We are told TimescaleDB has high ingestion rate, Relational quey and analytics capability. The dimensions on which we zeroed on RedisTS are:

  1. Ingestion rate
  2. Query response speed
  3. Simple comands set
Is there any comparison done between these two DB’s. I could not find any.

Thanks.
